A Journey into Khmer HeritageLight Through Banteay Srei
We start the day at Banteay Srei, a small temple known for its detailed carvings in pink sandstone. The morning light brings out its textures beautifully. Next, we visit a local silk workshop to photograph artisans weaving by hand.
We head to Angkor Wat in the late afternoon to capture its iconic towers under the warm sunset light. The reflection pools and fading sky create a powerful final frame for the day.
Lives Along Tonle Sap Lake
We visit a peaceful monastery at dawn to photograph monks in their morning routines. Their saffron robes, set against the cool early light, make for striking compositions. Afterwards, we stop by a bustling local market to capture street scenes and candid portraits.
We travel to Kompong Phluk, a floating village on Tonle Sap Lake. From small boats, we photograph daily life on the water — stilted houses, passing fishermen, and children paddling home from school.
